Based on age, origin or purchasing behaviour, guests choose different payment methods to complete their booking. Therefor it is important to offer multiple payment methods.

Paying online to a foreign company that we do not know a lot about, can sometimes be a barrier. However, logo’s, acronyms and icons are there to reassure guests and prove to them that the payment is 100% secure.
Our platform for payments by credit card meets the PCI DSS and the PSD2 norms. On top of that it frees you from any handling and storage of sensitive information.
Speed up the purchasing process
When the guest arrives at the last step of his booking, it is important that he can complete it quickly. He may have a voucher or would like to pay with iDEAL (Dutch guests).
Offering domestic or alternative payment methods gives you an advantage over your competitors and speeds up the purchasing process.
The proposed payment methods
By subscribing to one or more of our services, you can activate or deactivate various payment methods. These will be offered to your guests, for the payment of their deposit or balance, when they book through one of our channels or partners.
Our system accepts credit card payments with Visa | Mastercard through the secure platform of EMS/Payline by Monext. This platform meets the PCI DSS standards and guarantees secure payments with the 3DSecure system and respects the PSD2 norms.
There are different payment methods that can vary from country to country. Why? Each country has a preferred payment method because they know and trust it well, because it is quick and easy to use and, in some cases, cheaper to activate and secure.
We offer all the payment methods most commonly used in Europe via a direct link to Stripe © or PayPal ©:
- iDEAL: the Netherlands
- EPS: Austria
- MyBank: Italy
- Bancontact: Belgium
- Przelewy 24: Poland
Of course, it is still possible to offer a more classic payment method like bank transfer.
Less practical for your accounting management and for guaranteeing payment, this mean of payment is still widely used by guests.
In order to meet your needs and those of your guests, we have developed the cancellation of a booking that generates a voucher so that the guest can use it later with a new booking.
Guests cannot only use vouchers generated by Secureholiday, but also those that they have received from other systems or from you.
If you use our Individual Premium Package, you can sell gift vouchers online and the guest can use them as payment in the booking tunnel.
